HeartSine's samaritan PAD was designed especially for use in public areas by providing a sophisticated defibrillator for adult or pediatric use.
Easy-to-operate system!
CPR alone does not save lives - in fact the North American average for 'saves' is less than 5% with CPR alone. CPR combined with an AED has been shown in recent anecdotal evidence to reach a 'save' factor of between 40 - 50%.
AED units are now appearing in many industries, recreation centres and public places such as shopping malls and golf courses. To be effective ideally the AED unit should be on the patient within 4 - 6 minutes.
AED's have been recommended by the American and Canadian Heart Associations as part of an effective response system to a cardiac arrest. Early activation of the emergency 9-1-1 system, early application of CPR and early defibrillation (AED) remains the best way to save a life.
We are able to offer you a complete AED Solution for your situation.

A 4-hour comprehensive program designed to strengthen the Chain of Survival and provide training on Automatic External Defibrillators (AED's) to targeted responders. Targeted responders may include industrial first aiders, lifeguards, airline personnel or volunteer firefighters. The program establishes and provides guidelines and protocols in the application and use of AED's. Throughout the course participants increase their familiarity with the concepts, principles and practices of defibrillation while increasing their level of confidence, competence and ease of use of AED devices. Early defibrillation by initial rescuers is a vital link and the one most likely to increase the survival rate from sudden cardiac arrest. WCB approved course.
