First Responder (FR) Courses
Want to become a first responder with your local fire department or rescue service? This course provides the certification for basic pre-hospital care and CPR skills required for paid and volunteer positions with many fire departments in BC. This course includes Ministry of Health (EMALB) licensing in-class and the new Schedule 1 and 2 requirements.
Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Courses
Start your career in emergency paramedicine. This course meets the entry-level training qualification for employment with the BC Ambulance Service. No pre-requisites required. Learn from practicing paramedics and first responders who can share their knowledge and insight. Students can apply for their license once certification is achieved. New Schedule 1 and 2 requirements are included.
Upgrade/Bridge to Emergency Medical Responder
Do you already have your OFA3 ticket or your First Responder training? Take our one week upgrade course and receive your Emergency Medical Responder certification. Students can apply for their license once certification is achieved.
Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Course
